Why I will NOT be on a date Friday:
[this takes place after an 8 minute phone call.]
Ben: You have a sexy voice, btw.
Me: Haha thank you. I don't think Friday is going to work, though. We have very different priorities, and, to be frank, I can't stand when guys excessively cuss in front of girls. Sorry. Best of luck to you in the future.
Ben: You don't even want to give it a shot? Different priorities how?
Me: My faith is really important to me, and my ideal guy values it the same way I do. I'm sorry it's not going to work. Best of luck. :]
Ben: Help me with my faith then!
Me: Maybe try going to church? I go to [name] and I bet you'd like it. They have awesome music.
Ben: I'm open to religion i just need the right person to guide me as far as cussing i can work on it come on we have had some great Conversations so far, we shouldn't throw it all away so quick. I like you and i would be willing to change my ways for you
Me: Throw what away? I've enjoyed talking, but we're not compatible.
Ben: We have been compatible up until this point, I was looking forward to dinner and being able to serenade you. I'm a sweet guy, just give me a chance to show you
Me: I'm sorry Ben. It's just not in the cards. I don't compromise on that issue.
Ben: Help me see how important religion is. Does last night all of a sudden mean nothing to you? Just give me a chance, thats all i ask.
Me: Last night was a conversation between two people. I can't be the one to change your mind. Sorry.
