Saturday, at last
Ran this morning and then enjoyed breakfast and coffee on the deck. QT followed. Boy did I ever need that too. Ran errands with my awesome son, congrats lunch for my daughter and saw my son’s GF at her work.
Now, onto yard work. Oh the joy. At least my son will help. Followed by making dinner and maybe baking some cupcakes. I’m in the mood to bake. Then, down to some serious knitting...

Mowing
Lawn mowers are disposable? I didn’t think so, but this is the third one I have bought in the last few years. Oh well. This one rocks though. It could eat rocks. Yep. Powerful.
I’m inspired by ice cream today. Yep. I am working on a very cute, if I say so myself…and I do…idea for my Etsy shop. Adorable! And I don’t eat ice cream. Damn those food allergies.
Rain, sleepy rain
I really just feel like crawling back into bed with a mug of hot coffee and listening to the rain fall. But, I need to get my run in, so I will force myself onto the treadmill. It rained all weekend long, and the grass has never been more green. But it has to get mowed sometime soon, or I will have a forest instead of a lawn. First, buy a new mower.

I went to a BBQ tonight, and the family had their downstairs bathroom…yes inside their house… decorated with astro-turf on the floor. No kidding. It looked like you were outside among the trees, but you were in suburbia. The walls had trees painted on them, and their was a sconce on the wall that looked like the moon.

Late to bed, early to rise
Listening to Ricky and The Radios on the deck of the Platte Grille, with a chicken ceasar salad, a glass of Chardonnay, family, and friends was a great way to spend last night. But, rising before the sun… after staying up late working on Etsy projects… and having no coffee yet, makes me one tired gal.
I am looking forward to seeing one client today, getting a massage myself, working...

I went to Starbucks to get an iced latte, and grabbed a biscotti too. The barista said “you need to say ‘biscotti’ in a Scottish accent to say it properly”. You have got to be kidding.
Busy, rainy, Sunday
What a full day. SO thankful to have a clean garage.
Made a donation pile for Goodwill, and tossed lots of trash.
Packed up my Mother’s Day gift for my wonderful Mom.
Alongside my son, pulled weeds, mowed the grass, raked leaves, moved HUGE rocks, and more.
Ate a slice at the new Anthony’s near our house.
Now…onto making dinner and knitting the night away because…..
