I was able to see Layla at Children’s Hospital yesterday. It was such a blessing to see her smiling and hugging her parents. Hopefully she will be released to go home this week. She still has a long road ahead of her, such as once or twice weekly hospital visits. And the possibility of needing a heart transpant still exists.
Thank you to everyone that has donated finacially for Layla. Her parents do have insurance, but it is literally a drop in the bucket for all the specialized care she has received and will need in her lifetime. Layla’s mom told me yesterday, that when Layla was in the ER, she was thinking “How much will this cost? Whatever it costs, please just save her.” Wow. Layla has been saved, but has an uphill climb ahead. Please keep Layla and her family in your prayers and donate financially if you can. Donate a little for Laya. It all helps. No amount is too small. Thank you so much.
