The beautiful Rocky Mountains, colorful flowers in our neighborhood and homemade tortilla chips with cold salad help to beat the heat!

My week in review:

I had a relaxing and carefree Mother’s Day. Lunch at Tokyo Joe’s was yummy. I love sea salt on edamame. Makes for the perfect snack. I spent part of the rainy afternoon crocheting this rose pin, just for fun. We watched the Sixth Sense and just hung out.

Monday was another busy day in the office. Love my new engraved mug! Pretty sweet huh?! Pretty much every day is full and busy around here, but God has blessed my hubby and I with the ability to work side by side every day, and that’s pretty fantastic. We have A LOT of fun together. We have some amazing opportunities we are taking full advantage of, and can’t wait to share with everyone…but not until this Fall.

This past Saturday my daughter and I spent time together, crocheting over breakfast at Panera, doing some thrifting (yes, we scored vintage Pyrex in mint condition and the perfect large mug for her office at work!) and finished our day with cupcakes and Starbucks. I haven’t laughed that much in a long time. We can’t wait for the next adventure!

I hope your week was just as wonderful!

My week in review:

I embarked on a solo, last minute car trip to Lubbock, Texas to help family. This was the sunrise that greeted me as I left Lubbock in my rear view mirror.

The Supermoon was amazing! Wish my photos could do it justice.

Work was very VERY busy and included several expensive trips to the Apple store.

I baked Lemon Bars yesterday, and ate one with a banana and coffee for breakfast this morning. Lemon has Vitamin C people!

I hope your week was amazing and you have lots of great things to look forward to in the week ahead. I plan on making it a fantastic week. What about you?

My weekend in review…

I baked an Earl Grey Chocolate Cake (blogged previously), and purchased more Sheep(ish) yarn for a knitted gift. I’m under a time crunch to complete this project so I’m knitting as much as I can! I spent time listening to my son play some incredible music and had dinner just the two of us.

Of course there were several hours of yard work done with my daughter’s help, but tree trimming, weed pulling and gravel shoveling were not blog-photo worthy!

I hope you were able to enjoy your weekend as much as I enjoyed mine!
